VOLT is immediately hiring for a Master Scheduler in Spokane, WAu00a0u00a0Position type: Full-time, Contingentu00a0 u00a0u00a0Duration: 2+ yearsu00a0 u00a0u00a0Location: Onsite 4 days per week in SpokaneAs a Master Scheduler you will:u00a0 u00a0u00a0Responsible for monitoring project schedule performance and perform related analyses to support the strategic planning and forecasting of project completion for substation and transmission construction projects.u00a0 Manages long range project planning horizon to ensure schedule and resources are maximized.u00a0u00a0 u00a0u00a0Description:u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0Maintains a master schedule of all substation and transmission construction projects.u00a0 This consolidated view links to individual project schedules and provides accurate and timely data.u00a0 u00a0 Maintains and updates schedule templates, coordinates updates with other departments to ensure schedules link across the organization.u00a0 u00a0Maintains and updates all individual schedule activity naming standards for the departmentu00a0 u00a0Develops and analyze deviations from baseline and critical path in the master schedule and proposes corrective actions.u00a0 u00a0Coordinates the development and preparation of master WBS and templates with Project Controller.u00a0 u00a0Coordinates project schedules with scheduler and PMs based on defined project execution philosophies. This includes milestones, and other critical deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for projects.u00a0 u00a0Provides oversight, training, and support to scheduler in maintaining and updating project schedules.u00a0 u00a0Leads weekly project schedule resource related meetings to drive schedule engagement with operations (shops?). (something here about creating better relationship with shops so they will like us more and make better schedules overall)u00a0 u00a0Prepares and maintains resource loaded schedules. Develops and disseminates reports highlighting schedule and resource loading.u00a0 u00a0Prepare cost loaded schedules to support comprehensive cash flow projections.u00a0 Escalates all concerns with resources and cost to Project Controller.u00a0 u00a0Identifies schedule related problems which arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions.u00a0 u00a0Coordinate with PM's, engineers, managers, general foremen and key stakeholders to maintain current project status and forecast project future performance.u00a0 u00a0 Reviews results compared to schedules to identify deviations from expected results and identify possible action plans.u00a0 u00a0 Other duties as assigned.u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0Requirements:u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a03+ years of demonstrated experience in Project Schedulingu00a0 u00a0 u00a0Expert user of Oracle's Primavera P6/OPC or equivalent project management software.u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 Knowledge of project management principles, including standard guidelines.u00a0 u00a0 Excellent analytical, critical thinking, facilitation and communication skills required.u00a0 u00a0Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks under strict deadlines and changing priorities.u00a0 u00a0 Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification preferred.u00a0 u00a0 Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management or related discipline preferred.u00a0 u00a0Experience working with IBM Maximo and utility construction work preferred.u00a0 u00a0Pay range: $55.00-$70.00 per houru00a0Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.u00a0 u00a0u00a0Qualified candidates
