Job Description If you enjoy solving hardware problems, working in the lab, and turning measurements into engineering insight, this internship is for you. As a Preamp Characterization Intern , you will help evaluate next-generation analog front-end circuits used in high-performance data systems. You will collaborate with engineers to measure, analyze, and understand how new silicon behaves in real operating conditions. This role combines hands-on lab experimentation, data analysis, and engineering investigation . What Youu2019ll Do + Characterize next-generation analog front-end circuits using laboratory measurement tools + Perform electrical measurements such as gain, noise, bandwidth, and linearity + Develop scripts to automate test setups and collect measurement data + Analyze results to identify performance trends and anomalies + Partner with design engineers to help debug circuit behavior and improve performance + Document results and present insights to engineering teams This role involves significant hands-on lab work using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to evaluate real silicon devices. _This position is part of our Early Career program at WD.
