Job Description Tarper PeopleReady of Orange Park, FL is now hiring Tarpers in Palatka, FL As a tarper you will be covering loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and securing the load and tarps with bungee cords and 4 inch straps per customer, company and DOT standards. Physical job that may require working indoors and outdoors and in all types of weather. You will do this using a variety of equipment, including heavy duty tarps, straps and edge protectors to cover loads 45 to 53 feet long Make sure that all loads are properly secured before leaving the tarping area Available shifts: Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night) Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Attention to detail Safety conscious Ability to work in a team/group Communicate in a clear and concise manner Ability to lift up to 100lbs This position involves bending, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and climbing as needed Commercial Driver Licenses are a plus Ready to take control of the way you work?
