Description We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in AI/ML technologies and prior experience in the oil and gas industry to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights through advanced analytics and innovative solutions. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver meaningful insights from raw data. u2022 Utilize PowerApps to create and maintain applications that support business intelligence initiatives. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions. u2022 Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform decision-making. u2022 Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of data within BI systems. u2022 Optimize data pipelines and workflows for improved performance and scalability. u2022 Provide technical expertise to support AI/ML integration into existing data processes. u2022 Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and AI/ML. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data tools and processes. u2022 Document processes, workflows, and methodologies for future reference. Requirements u2022 Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development and administration. u2022 Proficiency in PowerApps for application design and maintenance. u2022 Background in data engineering with a focus on AI/ML technologies. u2022 Familiarity with data analytics in the oil and gas industry. u2022 Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline optimization. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve project goals. u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
