You will utilize your technical expertise and clinical judgment to produce accurate imaging results that directly support diagnosis and treatment decisions.Essential FunctionsMaintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functionsVerify patient identification and exam orders; prepare and educate patients for MRI proceduresPerform MRI exams per departmental protocols and review images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic accuracyAdhere strictly to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environmentComplete studies efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and image qualityAssist with training and instruction of students and fellow MRI Technologists, including protocols, positioning, and equipment useProvide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns throughout the examPractice proper infection control and sterile techniquesOperate MRI equipment and associated information systems to ensure optimal imaging outcomesMaintain accurate documentation of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactionsFollow protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control programs, and reporting equipment issuesRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of anatomy and imaging principlesImage evaluation and quality assuranceMRI equipment operation and electronic imaging systemsContrast administration and protocol knowledgeMRI safety and emergency responseAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamEffective verbal and written communicationStrong task prioritization and time management skillsCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environmentMinimum QualificationsARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or ARRT (R) with MRI cross-training requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providersIV competency required within 30 days of hireWhy Join Riverton Hospital?Competitive hourly pay with growth based on experienceOpportunity to work with advanced imaging technologySupportive team environment focused on collaboration and excellenceMeaningful work that directly impacts patient outcomes and community healthLocation:Intermountain Health Riverton HospitalWork City:RivertonWork State:UtahScheduled Weekly Hours:36The hourly range for this position is listed below.
