Our owners are proud Utahns.Job Summary:The Journeyman Electrician willbe responsible forinstalling,maintaining, and repairing electrical systems inindustrial,commercial,and residential settings. They will work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. In this role you will work in locations along the Wasatch Front.Duties and Responsibilities:Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical panelsPerform regular maintenance on electrical systems to ensureoptimalperformanceInspect components, including wiring and electrical products to ensurethey’resafe and within the required codeLog time and resources in E360Commute between work locations along the Wasatch FrontMonitor inventory to ensure adequate stockMaintain tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working conditionTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and provide solutionsRead and interpret electrical schematics and blueprintsKeepup-to-datewith industry codes and standards and ensure compliance in all workCollaborate with other trades professionals, such as HVAC technicians or plumbers, as neededCommunicate with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide recommendationsTrain and mentor apprentices or less experienced electricians, as neededMaintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols and proceduresQualifications:Completion of an apprenticeship program and Journeyman Electrician certification3+ years of experience inindustrial,commercialand/or residential electrical installation and repairValid Utah State Journeyman Electrician LicenseFamiliarity of PLC controls and Relay LogicpreferredKnowledge of electrical systems and codes and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprintsFamiliarity with a variety of electrical tools and equipmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsBasic computer skills, includingproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to work at heights and in confined spaces, ifrequiredValid driver's license and reliable transportationThis is a full-time position witha competitivesalary and benefits.
