Travel Requirement: On-site in Central New York approximately 3u20134 days per year Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making for a growing manufacturing organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to provide financial insights, budgeting support, forecasting, and performance analysis that drive informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities + Lead financial analysis related to manufacturing operations, cost structures, and profitability + Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets + Analyze production costs, margins, and operational efficiency metrics + Partner with operations and leadership teams to evaluate cost reduction opportunities and process improvements + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages + Support variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast + Monitor key manufacturing KPIs, including labor efficiency, material costs, and overhead absorption + Assist with long-range financial planning and strategic initiatives + Provide data-driven insights to support pricing strategies, capital investments, and operational decisions + Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools + Collaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting + Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership Requirements u2022 Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry. u2022 Proficiency in conducting variance analyses and interpreting financial trends. u2022 Strong ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses and deliver actionable insights. u2022 Excellent communication skills for presenting financial findings to leadership. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. u2022 Knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and operational metrics is highly desirable.
