Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to join our client's in Warminster, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will collaborate with various departments, oversee key accounting processes, and contribute to the preparation of detailed financial reports. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee financial transactions and prepare journal entries for non-standard charges and events across all facilities. u2022 Monitor and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of monthly close processes. u2022 Reconcile general ledger accounts, focusing on prepaid and accrual accounts, and provide comprehensive support schedules to the Director of Finance. u2022 Execute compliance activities, including maintaining documentation, performing internal audits, and supporting key controls. u2022 Compile and present month-end financial reports and analyses for review by Finance leadership. u2022 Ensure data integrity across facilities by processing transactions within the Epicor system and adhering to internal controls. u2022 Prepare and post payroll journal entries, while supporting payroll-related tasks and coordination efforts. u2022 Manage sales tax filings for applicable states, including generating customer invoices for miscellaneous taxes when needed. u2022 Evaluate customer credit data, establish credit limits, and facilitate approval workflows. u2022 Assist with physical inventory tasks, including stockroom audits, ticket entry, and Work-in-Process analysis. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. u2022 At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles such as Staff Accountant or General Accountant. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills preferred. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. u2022 Proven ability to foster teamwork and drive process improvements. u2022 Experience with Epicor systems is a plus. u2022 Familiarity with internal controls and compliance frameworks such as J-SOX is preferred.
