Job Description

The Day Treatment Qualified Professional Facilitator leads and manages group discussions, workshops, and school-based interventions for Ku201312 students. The role requires excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with diverse student populations. The facilitator supports the social, emotional, and behavioral development of children and adolescents while ensuring compliance with mental health regulations and program guidelines. Location: Gastonia, NC Job duration: Direct-hire Work hours: Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 2:30/3:30pm every day, year round Salary: $20.00 u2013 25.00/hr. Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Plan, coordinate, and facilitate group discussions, meetings, and workshops for Ku201312 students. u00b7 Provide direct school-based services to support family preservation, educational goals, and appropriate role functioning in the community. u00b7 Develop, implement, and update Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed. u00b7 Conduct functional needs assessments and document interventions, effectiveness, and follow-ups. u00b7 Collaborate with medical and non-medical providers, community supports, and families to ensure integrated care. u00b7 Manage crisis situations, de-escalation, and conflict resolution in collaboration with the Clinical Director. u00b7 Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all state, federal, and company policies, including Medicaid regulations. u00b7 Perform case management duties, including linking clients to services, coordinating referrals, and maintaining regular communication with families and schools. u00b7 Prepare and distribute materials for sessions, track attendance, and evaluate program outcomes. u00b7 Ensure clean, safe, and organized group areas, and report incidents promptly to the Clinical Director. u00b7 Complete required documentation daily, including service notes and progress tracking. u00b7 Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or designee. Requirements: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in a Human Services field; minimum of two (2) years pre- or post-Bachelor experience with a mental health population. u00b7 Meets requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health. u00b7 Minimum of two (2) years documented experience working with children, adolescents, and families. u00b7 Proven facilitation experience in group discussions or workshops, particularly with Ku201312 students. u00b7 Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. u00b7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. u00b7 Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required. u00b7 Knowledge of human services, NH/DD/SAS networks, state services, clinical diagnoses, and treatment protocols. u00b7 Knowledge of office practices, record-keeping, and filing systems.
