Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a prestigious law firm in Troy, Michigan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, including products liability and commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling depositions, courtroom proceedings, and managing sophisticated legal matters. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in complex litigation cases, focusing on products liability and commercial disputes. u2022 Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for legal proceedings. u2022 Draft and file legal briefs, motions, and other case-related documentation. u2022 Perform legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for client challenges. u2022 Manage case files using case management software to ensure efficiency and accuracy. u2022 Handle courtroom appearances, presenting arguments and advocating for clients. u2022 Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and case developments. u2022 Review and analyze claims, complaints, and evidence to build strong cases. u2022 Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to maintain expertise in litigation practices. Requirements u2022 Minimum of two years of experience in complex litigation, preferably with exposure to products liability cases. u2022 Strong academic background with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Proficiency in legal research tools, including LexisNexis, and case management software. u2022 Excellent written and oral communication skills for drafting briefs and presenting arguments. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines. u2022 Experience handling depositions and courtroom appearances. u2022 Knowledge of civil litigation processes and commercial litigation principles. u2022 Commitment to delivering high-quality work and taking ownership of client matters.
