Description We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team in Gaylord, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, where you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources operations and driving employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR practices, policies, and systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and foster positive workplace relationships. u2022 Lead and manage the HR team by setting goals, providing mentorship, and ensuring alignment with business priorities. u2022 Offer guidance and resolve employee concerns through consultation, investigation, and policy review. u2022 Create and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for the organization. u2022 Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and employment practices. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver employee development programs that align with operational objectives. u2022 Review and maintain employee records for accuracy, approving necessary updates. u2022 Provide expertise in administering benefits, union contracts, and payroll systems. u2022 Partner with leadership to evaluate HR processes and improve organizational effectiveness. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; Masteru2019s degree preferred. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting. u2022 Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels. u2022 Proficiency in HR systems, payroll, and timekeeping platforms. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and build strong relationships across diverse employee groups. u2022 Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory. u2022 Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Experience working in facilities undergoing mergers or acquisitions is a plus.
