Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper in Middlesex County, NJ. In this role you will be responsible for bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, managing the general ledger, and more. If you have 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you Responsibilities: u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Conduct account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date records and support accounting processes. u2022 Prepare and record journal entries to facilitate accurate financial reporting. u2022 Manage accruals and ensure proper documentation for accounting purposes. u2022 Compile and analyze financial data to assist in preparing reports and business insights. u2022 Apply Excel skills to organize and manage financial data effectively. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role. u2022 Proficiency with accounting software. u2022 Experience with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. u2022 Ability to create and manage journal entries accurately. u2022 Familiarity with accrual accounting methods. u2022 Basic knowledge of Excel for organizing and analyzing financial data. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
