Description Job Title: Director of Finance u2013 Manufacturing Location: Prospect, CT (On-site, 5 days/week) Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent Recruiter Contact: Abby Harpp u2013 Reference: AH0013398343 Our client, a leading U.S. manufacturing site within a global industrial group, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the U.S. divisionu2019s finance function. This senior, hands-on finance leadership role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial strategy, and reporting. The Director of Finance will partner closely with the Managing Director and international headquarters, manage the U.S. finance team, and play a critical role in driving financial discipline, operational insight, and long-term business performance. Key Responsibilities: + Drive U.S. division financial strategy while managing hands-on accounting operations + Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership, influencing decisions and growth + Lead quarterly and year-end closes and deliver accurate, actionable financial statements + Ensure strong financial controls and compliance across U.S. GAAP, tax, and corporate standards + Own balance sheet integrity, ensuring reconciliations and reporting are precise + Manage cash, liquidity, foreign exchange, and debt activities to support business goals + Oversee AP/AR, including credit management and collections with sales + Lead inventory valuation and reconciliation to corporate guidelines and standards + Maintain fixed asset records from capitalizations to depreciation and disposals + Partner on budgeting, cost accounting, and financial modeling + Build and mentor your finance team, with growth potential beyond the current direct report Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 5+ years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or product-based environment (international or global structures is a plus) + Experience in financial reporting, including preparing financial statements and managing quarterly and year-end close processes + Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal/state tax regulations + Experience with inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliations, and adjustments + Hands-on/oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions + ERP system proficiency Why Youu2019ll Love This Role / Company: + Lead finance for the U.S. division of a global manufacturing leader + Blend hands-on accounting with strategic financial leadership + Partner with executive leadership and international HQ to influence business decisions + Enjoy stability, career growth, and professional development opportunities + Thrive in a collaborative culture with engaging team activities If you meet the minimum requirements and want to learn more, please email your resume to and reference AH0013398343.
