JOB SUMMARY Demonstrates clinical competence through utilization of the nursing process and development of a synergistic nurse-patient relationship. Assesses and identifies patient problems/needs, establishes a plan of care, implements and evaluates care provided to patients. u2022 Graduate of a school of Nursing. BSN preferred u2022 One (1) year RN experience ; two (2) or more years of acute care experience in this clinical area preferred. u2022 Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. u2022 Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire. u2022 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or obtained within 90 days of hire u2022 Pediatric Life Support (PALS) Certification or obtained within 90 days of hire u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications. Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion and/or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred. We take great care of careers.
