Wayfair LLC seeks Machine Learning Scientist II (Multiple Positions) inBoston, MA: Job Duties: Apply statistical and machine learningalgorithmic frameworks across multiple front-end and back-endapplications for Wayfair including, but not limited to, marketing,measurement, storefront, personalization, merchandising, sales, service,data infrastructure, etc. Perform data mining on the vast repository ofraw data and extract meaningful features and insights that will driveprioritization of models to be built. Work in complex data systems andwrangle data from multiple sources including, but not limited to,customer, clickstream, product catalog, and sales databases. Design andimplement innovative machine learning algorithms, statistical models,and optimizing methods that help inform specific solutions to businessproblems spanning varied business functions across multiple customer andsupplier touchpoints. Work closely with partner engineering teams tohelp bring these models into production. Serve as a consultative partnerto the business product teams to help quantitatively frame theopportunities that can be solved with algorithmic frameworks. Deliverpresentations to internal business stakeholders and partner engineeringteams that help articulate the vision and strategy of data science, itsvalue to the business, and build confidence in the data sciencesolutions. Position is based in Boston, MA; however, telecommuting ispermitted. Salary: $114,088 to $180,500.
