Snowflake Solutions Architect (12 Months Part-Time) ...

TSGis seeking a part-time remote Snowflake Solutions Architect in Los Angeles, CA to provide hands-on assistance during the setup of a Program Cloud Data Lakehouse.This is approximately 10 hours/week for 12 months. You will import and set up ongoing replication from our on-premises Program data warehouse as well as Salesforce Cloud. Transaction data from the data warehouse must then be merged with customer and program account data from Salesforce and then optimized for ingestion into analytics platforms.Responsibilities:Translate complex business requirements into technical data solutionsAdvise the agency staff on best practices for ongoing replication from both on-prem and cloud sources including Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, AWS and other Cloud data sources used by the County.Update Microsoft PowerBI report source queries from Oracle to Snowflake.Work closely with the Agency team to develop data marts tailored to the programs and initiatives to rapidly meet business needs.Implement Streamlit dashboards and summary reports to visualize data.Documentation of Snowflake setup and ongoing processes (ETL processes, RBAC structure, etc).Implement performance optimization strategies achieving measurable improvements.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field7 - 10 years of experience in providing data engineering and reporting.Snowflake, SnowPro Core certification (strongly preferred).Experience with Azure, AWS, or Cloud Platform cloud platformsEnterprise data warehouse design and large-scale ETL/ELT pipeline implementation experience.If interested, please email your current resume in MS Word format to
