ISO Technical Writing Intern Job Description ISO Technical Writing Intern - Indianapolis [onsite, day shift] _Come join a team that makes a difference here and around the world_ _Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos,_ is seeking an ISO Technical Writing Intern to join its 2026 Summer Intern Program in the ISO Quality Team. The ISO Technical Writing Intern will report to the Senior Quality Manager and take functional direction from the ISO Manager, and will operate daily out of the Indianapolis, IN facility (onsite, Monday-Friday). Summer Interns at Peerless Pump are given opportunities to participate in department projects with the goal to help expand their technical education and aid in completion of projects. At the end of the term, Interns will prepare a project status report to present to senior management within the company to explain impact of their project and receive direct feedback on performance. _Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities + Shadow employees doing their job function. + Observe/video record work practices in play + Document every step and note Sequence, key points and reasons for each step. + Conduct general time study of each operation for general Takt time evaluation for later use. + Assist in problem-solving efforts both internal and external facilities. + Provide problem solving support for machine shop and assembly. + Perform validation audits of created work instructions against live actions _Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations_ This role will report directly to the Quality Manager and take daily functional direction from the ISO Manager. Key stakeholders are; Quality, Production/Assembly/Testing, Machine Shops, Logistics, Product Engineering.
