Our Team, Your Impact Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Maintenance Technician II role in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is working to develop a good working knowledge of the Manufacturing facility and ancillary support equipment. This person will take direction from the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Lead and under their direction and the other Maintenance team members will be working to insure the manufacturing equipment is running at peak efficiencies. Once trained, this person will be responsible for the completion of the established preventive maintenance procedures, major and minor repairs on the manufacturing equipment as well as the ancillary equipment. How Youu2019ll Spend Your Day u2022 Schedule Preventive and Predictive maintenance based on the established schedules. This would include but is not limited to; Manufacturing Lines, Building Maintenance, Grounds, Warehouse, Boiler and Ancillary Equipment and Waste Water. u2022 Being effective and proactive in supporting the operations department. u2022 Timely closure of Routine and NRWO with proper documentation, e.g. Logbooks filled out and work order is detailed. Any issues are brought to managementu2019s attention. u2022 Adherence to established policies, procedures and SOPu2019s. u2022 Housekeeping of the Maintenance Ownership areas to include the Maintenance Shop, Boiler room, Penthouse and Compressor area, Maintenance computer area and other areas as required to support the team. Support of the 5S mentality. u2022 Troubleshooting and repair of the manufacturing and ancillary equipment in the facility. u2022 Operation of the Building Automation System (BAS). u2022 Actively participate in operational improvement meetings, Safety Meetings and vendor consultations. u2022 Ability to use a multitude of electrical and mechanical test equipment and tools. u2022 Computer Literate and can use common computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to learn new software with training. Your Skills and Experience Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the manufacturing environment.
