Job Description An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Carrier Sale Representative to join their carrier sales team. This team is responsible for cultivating and managing carrier relationships to provide operational efficiency for the company's clients. On a daily basis, this person will be responsible for understanding the logistics and freight requirements for customer product and provide the carrier support to execute on the requirements. They will be interfacing with various groups within the organization to ensure timely and exceptional delivery, tracking carrier movement, and escalating any problems and issues that may occur. This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment, so this person must be very organized and have a pro-active attitude to provide updates and communicate efficiently. This is a permanent direct hire role and will be paying an annual base salary or $60 - 70K with additional opportunity for quarterly commissions.
