Jacobs is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Water/Wastewater & Facilities Health & Safety (H&S) Manager to be a part of our Southeast Region team. This position will lead the development, implementation, and administration of the Operations Management and Facilities Services (OMFS) health and safety program within the southeast region.Our Health & Safety Managers Key Dutiesu2022 Conducts comprehensive reviews of potential risks on projects (H&S, contracting) and identifies potential mitigation measuresu2022 Establishes safety culture for North regionu2022 Conducts comprehensive audits and assessmentsu2022 Investigates incidents and complaints concerning H&S risksu2022 Maintains expert knowledge of specific requirements/regulations imposed by governmental agencies (US and Ontario, Canada) and Jacobs policies and proceduresu2022 Conducts H&S classroom training (Confined Space, Fall Protection, Scaffold, Excavation, etc.)u2022 Acts as a Subject Matter expert.u2022 Recommends improvements to and provides technical review of H&S tools, processes, policies, procedures, and training.Bring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and weu2019ll help you grow what drives you - and deliver the worldu2019s most challenging Operations Management projects, together.reside anywhere in the southeast region and must live near a major airport.this is considered a hybrid position, working from home and traveling to projects within your region#bia #OurJacobs #omfs #challengeaccepted #LI-LH2 (The candidate hired must meet all the requirements.
