NSMV Fleet Configuration Engineer

Reference #: 1295Purpose of Job:Responsible for fleetwide configuration management and supervision of the assigned NSMV Training Ship's Maintenance and Configuration while they are inport and dry-dock, including providing direction to all shipyard and repair vendor personnel engaged in vessel repairs. As a General Agent team member to MARAD, this person oversees changes, installation and repair of marine power plants, propulsion systems, heating and ventilating systems, and other mechanical and electrical equipment in ships and marine facilities by performing the below main duties and responsibilities.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Embrace and promote the onsite safety program as instituted by TOTE Services.Coordinates long-term technical management of the NSMV Training Ship Fleet.
