Position Summary The Coordinator is responsible for scheduling Operating Experience training in accordance with all applicable aspects of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) training requirements including scheduling and regulatory compliance. The Coordinator ensures that during normal and irregular operations the integrity of the Operating Experience Plan is maintained while ensuring compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies and procedures. The Coordinator demonstrates the highest level of customer service while coordinating with other departments and communicating with Crewmembers. Essential Responsibilities Develop Operating Experience (OE) training plans for Pilot and Inflight crewmembers; monitor, track, reschedule and inform of changes as needed Coordinate with the Crew Planning and Crew Staffing teams for monthly bid planning and awards Coordinate with Training Records team to ensure required training events are scheduled, updated and adjusted when changes arise and notify Pilots and Inflight crewmembers of required training events and all other training needs Partner with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure observations for upgrading Captains and recurrent Flight Instructor are scheduled Monitor recurrent training reports monthly and coordinate with Crew Services using the current crew management system to schedule recurrent training Partner with and support the Inflight Performance and Quality Team in scheduling all Inflight Operating Experience requirements Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma One (1) year of previous Flight/Inflight Scheduling and/or Training Administration experience Familiar with computerized scheduling processes Ability to complete tasks and assignments with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communications skills Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Preferred Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Proficient in Microsoft Suite Experience with automated crew management systems Crewmember Expectations: Regular attendance and punctuality Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice Able to maintain a professional appearance When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)) Adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls Upholding JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understanding how they relate to their duties and responsibilities The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate for the position Equipment: Computer and other office equipment Work Environment: Traditional office environment, flexible work arrangements may apply Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently.
