JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Human Resources Analyst Leave/AccommodationsSpecialist Waukesha County Waukesha, WI SALARY RANGE $30.32 - $56.43WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS The Waukesha County Human Resource Division isseeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Human Resources AnalystLeave/Accommodations Specialist (may underfill as Human ResourcesAnalyst) to collaborate with our talented and engaged HR team. Thisposition is designed for professionals specializing in leave andaccommodations administration and program development. The primary focusof this role is to oversee and administer leave requests andaccommodations requiring specialized attention, particularly thosearising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americanswith Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and long-termdisability plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in theday-to-day management of all leave requests, the ability to manage andprioritize competing demands, excellent verbal and written communicationskills, and a strong attention to detail. A demonstrated commitment toproviding exceptional customer service to County employees is essential.Experience with ERP systems, particularly Workday, is highly desirable.Role Overview Provide day-to-day management of all leave requests,including but not limited to medical leaves, fitness-for-dutyevaluations, FMLA, PWFA, military leave, personal leaves, and ADAaccommodations. Provide technical expertise and guidance related tofederal, state, and local leave laws, including the PUMP Act, ADA,USERRA, and other applicable regulations. Maintain strictconfidentiality of employee medical documentation and related files.Oversee the return-to-work process for employees returning from leave.Collaborate with the Worker's Compensation Specialist to supportreturn-to-work coordination and provide backup support as needed.Partner with the Payroll Department to ensure accurate compensationduring approved leaves and administer time-off programs in accordancewith internal policies and applicable laws. Review, update, develop, andimplement leave and return-to-work policies and procedures to ensurecompliance with federal, state, and local laws. Research, develop,coordinate, and conduct training for employees, supervisors, managers,and department heads. Refine leave and accommodations business processeswhile optimizing ERP system capabilities. Assist with the completion ofbenefit surveys: perform benefit studies, analyze data, and makerecommendations based on market trends, internal equity, and othervariables. Complete annual ACA reporting and compliance initiatives.Provide benefit and leave reports for internal stakeholders.
