We are seeking a Strategist/Senior Strategist to join a fast-growing consulting team to help us scale and grow our Event Strategy and Profitable Growth offerings. You will work directly with executive-level and event organizers who use in-person and online events to drive organizational revenue and community engagement. We're especially excited about candidates who bring an established consulting toolkit with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. This position will support our Growth team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations: + Dallas, TX + Orlando, FL + Atlanta, GA + Las Vegas, NV + New Orleans, LA + Nashville, TN + Austin, TX + San Antonio, TX + Chicago, IL + Alexandria, VA Essential Duties & Responsibilities u2022 Work across multiple types of client projects and industry research to identify opportunities to help clients create new value in the event industry u2022 Work across the Strategy and Insights team to lead the industry in thought leadership, growth and profitability strategies, and identify opportunities to foster engagement, commerce, learning and professional growth at in-person and online events u2022 Apply strategic planning tools to organize and analyze qualitative and quantitative (financial and operational) data and team with others to create compelling client presentations with clear steps for action u2022 Support development of financial and pricing models to drive profitable growth for in-person events; in select cases, lead scenario analysis for client projects u2022 Participate in industry events and observe, record and analyze findings to identify improvement opportunities for client performance u2022 Collaborate with others to develop new approaches and frameworks to advance the events industry u2022 Build and maintain client communication and foster client relationships u2022 Demonstrate a client-centric approach on all strategy and research engagements Education & Experience u2022 A Bacheloru2019s Degree (Business, Management, or related field preferred). u2022 5-7 year of professional experience, including 2+ years of consulting experience, ideally with some experience in a management or strategy consulting firm u2022 Strong observation, analytical, and business acumen skills and demonstrated ability for abstract thought u2022 Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience u2022 Strong sense of personal organization u2014 you know how to prioritize and keep yourself on track, even when juggling multiple projects in a fast-moving environment u2022 Ability to create compelling narrative and build supporting client presentations u2022 Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as demonstrated understanding of AI tools to improve efficiency and provide input into analysis and work products u2022 Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems u2022 Demonstrated drive to perform and deliver results including working effectively with others to achieve goals u2022 Maintains a high level of interest, enthusiasm and personal focus.
