Location: Avera McKennan Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: _The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience._ $19.50 - $25.50 Position Highlights Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm; 72 hours 2 weeks (Flexible hours to work with new hires and different shifts as last as 6:00pm) You Belong at Avera Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Plans, coordinates, and manages the onboarding portion for team members. Works as a liaison between the department and educational operations. The Onboarding Coordinator's role is to provide an outstanding onboarding and growth experience. What you will do + Plans, coordinates and manages all facets of onboarding and implementing those plans with the direct leadership team. Focuses on positive culture through process improvement and educational planning. + Ensures all onboarding and retention plans are effectively communicated to the leadership team and implementation dates with time lines are developed and followed. + Ensures efficient communication between support service staff and leadership when planning and coordinating an improvement project. + Creates and manages online learning modules, training documents and check lists to create a smooth, efficient and effective process to ensure retention of staff. + Creates and maintain relationships with new and existing staff and leadership. + Ensures that every new team member is onboarded effectively no matter the role the staff member holds. Works with leadership to ensure a well communicated and positive onboarding experience for every team member. + Assists in guiding the Culture Committee.
