Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ How youu2019ll make an impact in this role Function as a liaison between internal/external referral sources and inpatient rehabilitation operations. + Establish relationships and aid with communication to case managers, physicians, payors, patients, families and referral sources in order to generate referrals and drive patient admission volume in the inpatient rehab. + Ensure appropriate patient selection through clinical chart assessments during on/off-site clinical evaluation of patients in collaboration with the physician. + Complete in-service and educational opportunities for physicians, case managers, interdisciplinary members and other professionals. Serve as an educational resource to patients, family members and caregivers. + Participate in the development and implementation of business plans for the rehab unit and contribute to the development and maintenance of referral source promotional information. What minimum requirements youu2019ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: + One or more of the following required: + Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Drivers License preferred. Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
