Location: Elkin, NC Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour Employment Type: Temporary with potential for hire Schedule: M-F, 8am-4:30pm Start Date: March 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing, with potential for permanent hire Why This Role Matters As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality nutritional care to patients. Your expertise will support both individualized nutrition plans and broader wellness initiatives, contributing to improved health outcomes across the hospital. What You'll Do • Conduct nutrition assessments and implement individualized care plans using the Nutrition Care Process • Provide evidence‑based nutrition counseling to patients, families, and staff • Support interdisciplinary teams by communicating nutritional recommendations and participating in patient rounds • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards • Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements What We're Looking For • A current, up-to-date resume • Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) • Current North Carolina Dietitian/Nutritionist licensure • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required) • Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a clinical environment • Ability to meet compliance requirements including a background check, drug screen, TB test, and immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, Influenza) What's In it For You • Consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends • Opportunity for long‑term placement and potential permanent hire • Experience within a well‑respected healthcare setting • Meaningful patient impact and professional growth in clinical nutrition Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) • Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • Full tuition coverage • Employee Assistance Program • Referral bonuses • And more!
