In this role, you will ensure all required materials are correctly sourced, set up, and supplied to each line throughout the shift. Position Details: Starting Pay:$18.25plus $1.50 shift differential Referral Bonus:$500 after90 daysand $1000 after180 daystotaling $1,500.00(for a candidate that is hired) Work Environment:Manufacturing, Non-Climate Controlled, Variable Temperatures, Team Oriented, On-The-Job Training Responsibilities: Make minor repairs to equipment such as replacement of lube wands, cleaningfilters, etc. Monitor andmaintainall lubrication equipment ensuring proper levels of lubricant are being dispersed. Monitorthe system to ensure proper levels of resin are made available on each line. Makeup resin/regrind mix asrequired. Pull tape onto floor, if tape feeders are not available, to ensure that any obstructions are removed from the tape path. Make minor repairs to feed equipment, such as tightening loose rolls, adjusting feed rate tomaintainproper tension, etc. Maintaina neat and orderly work area. Know and understand the material requirements (i.e.colorant, cable, tape, etc.) for each product being produced during the assigned shift. Review the manufacturing order at the beginning of each shift todeterminewhat materials arerequired. Completeappropriate documentationto ensureaccurateinventory transaction Education and Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of equipment/machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment(plasticextrusionexperience a plus!) Familiaritywith using common measuring devices and hand tools. Has experience with following work instructions and performing basic math calculations to track product quality Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts andothersequipment. Occupational and/or Physical Requirements: Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects Must be able to wear all required PPE as necessary Standand walk long distances on the plant floor for 8 to 12 hours on a shift and work around hot machinery. Occasional climbing, reaching,squattingand bending tooperateand fix equipment The compensation for this position will typically range from $18.25/hr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
