Job Overview:Fall Co-op Quality Engineering Spartanburg, SCAs a Quality Engineering Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will be part of the beverage revolution. You will be working in KDPs newest, highly technical coffee manufacturing K-Rounds facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. With guidance from the Quality and R&D teams, this role will assist with the development and implementation of quality assurance resources and tools. This role will also provide on-site support with quality assurance trials and innovation work taking place at the Spartanburg 2 K-Rounds manufacturing site. Come learn what it takes to succeed at an industry-leading company and help contribute to our ongoing success.Shift/Schedule:The KDP Fall Co-op program will run from July 13 December 11, Located in our Spartanburg 2 K-Rounds, SC manufacturing facilityFull-time; 40 hours per weekMonday-Friday8:00am until 5:00pmIn-PersonElements of the KDP Co-op Program include:Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environmentReceive mentor support for your professional developmentParticipate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leadersReceive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presentingComplete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department,and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the businessAs a Quality Co-op you will:Partner with on-site quality and operations teamsEngage in R&D development and testingGain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS (Daily Management Systems) for day-to-day operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualificationsAssist with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and developing, implementing and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreamsSupport daily manufacturing operations to deliver targeted safety, quality, production, and cost resultsPrepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to all levels including senior management. Undertake and successfully complete simple or basic project development tasks to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment and processes.Be a contributor on problem solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methodology.Collect and calculate savings data on improvement projects.Recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.Total Rewards:$31/hourPaid bi-weekly$5, Sign-on Bonus, paid within first 30 days of employmentRequirements:Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Food Science, Packaging Science, Engineering or another Manufacturing-related fieldExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilitiesAbility to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changesStrong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with Power BI and Trending Data is preferredPlease Note: You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
