Licensed Customs Broker for Nationally known 3PLIdeal Candidate:You are a seasoned, highly respected Licensed Customs Broker who takes pride in precision, ethics, and regulatory excellence. You want a role where your license, expertise, and voice truly matter.Core ResponsibilitiesCustoms Brokerage & Regulatory Compliance Act as the corporate Licensed Customs Broker of record, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulationsOversee and execute end-to-end import operations including entry filings, classifications, valuation, country of origin determinations, PGA requirements, and duty optimizationServe as the primary point of contact for CBP, FDA, USDA, EPA, FCC, and other Partner Government AgenciesMaintain and enhance compliance programs aligned with CTPAT, ISA, and CBP audit readiness standards Trade Compliance Leadership Ensure accurate HTS classification across diverse product lines (manufacturing, consumer goods, industrial, or regulated commodities)Manage Free Trade Agreements (USMCA, other FTAs), duty drawbacks reconciliation, and post-entry amendmentsConduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action plansMonitor regulatory changes and proactively advise leadership on risk exposure and mitigation Operational & Strategic Impact Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, finance, legal, and logistics teamsDevelop and document SOPs, compliance manuals, and internal training programsImprove import processes, broker oversight, and data accuracy to reduce delays, penalties, and landed costsSupport high-volume, time-sensitive import environments with precision and consistency Broker & Vendor Oversight Manage relationships with external customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providersEnsure broker performance, accuracy, and compliance with company standardsEscalate and resolve complex customs issues, holds, seizures, or audits Required Qualifications Active U.S. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) — required10+ years of progressive experience in customs brokerage, import operations, and trade complianceDeep working knowledge of 19 CFR, CBP regulations, HTSUS, PGA requirements, and enforcement practicesProven experience supporting manufacturing and/or complex import environmentsStrong audit, risk management, and regulatory interpretation skillsExperience working directly with CBP officers and regulatory agenciesAdvanced understanding of import documentation, ACE, ABI systems, and compliance software SEND CONFIDENTIAL RESUMES (ONLY LICENSED BROKERS, PLEASE) TO: qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
