Location & Work Arrangement City, State: Richmond, VA Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite presence required according to agency policy). Interview Mode: In-Person Interview Required. Shift: EST Key Responsibilities Oracle & APEX Development Modernize legacy financial systems by building web-based applications with Oracle backends. Utilize Oracle APEX UI customization and features for rapid prototyping and production deliverables. Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL program code, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Implement front-end functionality using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery. System Design & Analysis Analyze new requirements and prepare comprehensive functional and system specifications. Develop data models and system designs, including defining Entity Relationship Diagrams. Perform SQL performance tuning to ensure application efficiency and scalability. Assess the impact of software upgrades and environmental changes on existing systems. DevOps & Quality Assurance Manage version control and deployments using Git CI/CD pipelines. Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of results for accuracy and integrative features. Prepare detailed system documentation and provide ongoing support for data processing systems. Required Skills & Experience Skill Category Requirement Years of Exp. Financial Systems: Background in modernizing high-security financial data processing systems. Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
