As an individual contributor, this role focuses on developing safe, cost-effective, activity-based staffing plans and shift bids for the Customer Service division, ensuring compliance with company standards and work rules, and providing operational support for staff planning and hiring requirements.Provide staffing and scheduling solutions utilizing flight schedules and staff forecasting to design cost-effective, efficient, and activity-based staffing plans and shift bids.Focus on drafting flight schedules and forecasting hiring needs, ensuring optimal staffing levels for Agents (PSA/GSA/CSA).Provide input into processes and procedures to improve staffing plans and agent bids, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies in a dynamic environment.Communicate frequently with station leadership to analyze staffing requirements and offer recommendations that enhance labor utilization on Op Drafts and subsequent looks for feedback.Analyze data to prepare and review staffing projections and efficiency options to support the annual budget process for Agents (PSA/GSA/CSA).Exercise judgment to make decisions in staffing optimization by providing recommendations to Station Managers and learning station-specific staffing requirements.Influence cross-functionally and build relationships with station leadership to align staffing strategies with operational needs.Under the direction of the Manager, Resource Planning, develop solutions for ad-hoc analyses and special projects as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.RequiredBachelor’s degree, or two years of equivalent experience in resource planning, data/business analytics, or an airline operations role supporting staffing or scheduling.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), Word, and Outlook.Superior problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to develop efficient staffing solutions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) to build collaborative relationships.Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-starter with initiative to identify and resolve complex problems.Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum age of 18.Authorized to work within the US.PreferredStrong knowledge of customer service policies and procedures.Currently qualified as a QX CSA, PSA or GSA.Experience building efficient work schedules or staffing plans using forecasting and operational data.Familiarity with workforce planning tools.Embody our values to own safety, do the right thing, be caring and kind, and deliver performance.$49,550-$76,300 / yearThis position has the flexibility to be based in SEA, PDX, BOI, or GEG. The salary range will vary depending on where the new hire is based.Salary range for SEA:$54,500 - $76,300Salary range for PDX/BOI/GEG:$49,550 - $69,350Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon employees.
