Banyan Global is recruiting a Team Leader for the upcoming USTDA Latin America and the Caribbean: Digital Infrastructure Project Scoping Services. The Team Leader will provide technical and managerial leadership for the assignment, overseeing the identification, assessment, and development of potential USTDA-funded activities such as feasibility studies, technical assistance, and pilot projects in priority digital infrastructure sectors.This assignment will support USTDA’s mission to advance overseas infrastructure projects that create opportunities for U.S. exports and promote secure, trusted, and interoperable digital infrastructure. The period of performance is up to 24 months contingent on funding.Lead overall project execution and serve as the primary point of contact with USTDA’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).Manage the project team and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.Oversee the review and assessment of proposed digital infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.Guide the preparation of Project Assessments, Project Reports, and the Final Report for USTDA.Coordinate stakeholder engagement, including meetings with project sponsors, U.S. companies, and relevant government entities.Ensure analytical rigor, quality control, and compliance with USTDA requirements and reporting standards.Required Qualifications10+ years infrastructure project development and international developmentDigital infrastructure sector experience and knowledge including broadband, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or data centersDemonstrated experience leading complex international consulting assignments or project preparation missions.Experience developing feasibility study, pilot project and technical assistance TORs and budgetsStrong background in project finance and infrastructure financingFamiliarity with MDB, DFC, Ex-Im, and commercial financing requirementsExperience working in Latin America and the Caribbean.MBA or master’s in finance, economics or related fieldProfessional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese (Level 3 or above on the Interagency Language Roundtable scale).Strong written and oral communications skills in EnglishPreferredExperience supporting USTDA, MCC, or similar agenciesExperience estimating U.S. export impact
