Lead Advising Technology Modernization for Campus Serve as the primary product lead responsible for defining business requirements, translating those requirements to technical teams, and guiding the successful campus-wide implementation and ongoing use of EAB Navigate in support of institutional student success priorities.Develop expertise in cross-campus advising models and college, school, and unit (CSU) advising contexts.Develop and maintain effective relationships with key advising stakeholders, including the Vick Advising Excellence Center, Enterprise Technology, Academic Affairs, CSUs, and frontline staff, aligning platform capabilities with advising practices and student-centered goals.Develop a systems-level view of advising technologies and contribute to conversations about how the broader advising technology ecosystem can support student-centered advising and success across campus.Develop strong relationships with campus technology modernization and EAB experts within the OAT and AIS to support effective implementation.Product and Project Management Maintain full life cycle ownership of the EAB Navigate implementation and subsequent operational phases from project planning to ongoing optimization.Develop, manage, and support project milestones using established project management practices, including project charters, user testing, stakeholder mapping, communication planning, risk mitigation planning, business requirement gathering, testing, and implementation.Maintain extensive product feature expertise, including the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate various tiers of user support needs.Determine business requirements, evaluation planning, and assessment models for evaluating the impact of EAB Navigate on advising effectiveness and student outcomes.Partner with assessment teams to deliver evaluation milestonesDesign, generate, and share regular executive briefings and usage reports, insights, and success stories with university leadership and advising units.System Administration Partner with Enterprise Technology to support data mapping, integration, system upgrades, and platform optimization.Translate institutional needs into system specifications, implementation, and subsequent operational plans that position the university for long-term success with advising technologies.Serve as the EAB Navigate Application Administrator, including managing user access, roles, permissions, system updates, upgrades, and testing; configuring settings to customize appointment scheduling, referrals, and other Navigate capabilities for various offices on campus.Monitor new feature releases, assess relevance to campus needs, and oversee testing and implementation of updates.Assessment and Evaluation Design and deliver evaluation planning, and assessment models for evaluating the impact of EAB Navigate on advising effectiveness and student outcomes.Partner with assessment teams to deliver evaluation milestones.Design, generate, and share regular executive briefings and usage reports, insights, and success stories with university leadership and advising units.Technical Assistance, Training, Service, Support Set up and lead the customer service structure for EAB Navigate platform.Design and deliver robust onboarding and ongoing programs for new users and provide ongoing refresher training and advanced workshops.Develop comprehensive, user-friendly training documentation and resources, including guides, videos, FAQs, training events, and recorded sessions, and update and maintain all resources regularly.Maintain an active support presence, including through established help lines, all-hands meetings and regular office hours, during rollout periods and beyond, responding to questions, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating solutions with EAB and internal teams.Change Management, Community Building, and Adoption Work closely with the AVP of Academic Technology and Manager to:Conduct user research and develop strategies that build stakeholder buy-in, reduce resistance, and ensure a smooth adoption of EAB Navigate across various advising and administrative units.Meet regularly and consistently with the Vick Advising Center to partner on all phases of EAB roll out.Guide CSU and central advising representatives and staff through organizational change by aligning people, processes, and technology to reduce resistance and ensure the smooth rollout of EAB Navigate.Lead and coordinate a cross-campus steering council composed of advising and administrative stakeholders to secure input, buy-in, and engagement for the strategic use of EAB Navigate. Use this group as a vehicle to support collaboration and organize institutional conversations about effective use of the platform during implementation and beyond.Track usage trends, identify barriers to engagement, and propose targeted interventions to address gaps.Build and sustain a network of EAB Navigate super users and champions from across the university to foster shared learning and innovation.Continuous Improvement and Advising Technology Ecosystem MonitoringEngage actively with EABs national user community and participate in relevant webinars, conferences, and trainings. Disseminate learnings within the OAT and Vick Advising Excellence Center.Update UT Austin documentation, strategy, and planning using just-in-time strategies.Maintain awareness of trends and innovations in advising technology to help position the university as a leader in student success.Other Duties as Assigned Support the Assistant Vice Provost of Academic Technology in advancing other technology modernization efforts on campus.
