Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian u2013 Clinical Nutrition Manager to support PIH Health Hospital in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. This 408u2011bed acute care hospital serves a diverse patient population and includes specialized units such as NICU, Transitional Care, ICU, and more. This role offers the opportunity to lead clinical nutrition services in a fastu2011paced, highu2011impact environment while partnering closely with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes. Start with 3 weeksu2019 vacation and 3 personal days per calendar year Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually Full benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K Access to ongoing training and development programs Free on-site parking Complimentary cafeteria meals for dietitians What You'll Do + Oversee the Clinical Nutrition Program at PIH Good Samaritan Hospital, dedicating approximately 80% of time to program leadership and 20% as needed to direct patient care for the general patient population + Partner closely with the Sodexo leadership team supporting PIH Health Hospital + Provide leadership and oversight for 2.5 FTE Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and 6 diet office staff + Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as the primary liaison to medical and nursing staff + Actively participate in hospital committees and interdisciplinary initiatives + Lead, mentor, and develop a highu2011performing team through training, coaching, and mentorship, while fostering engagement and accountability What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
