Blender Operator Job Description The role involves following instructions on work orders, blend tickets, and wash tickets. You will be responsible for weighing ingredients, sampling products, and ensuring the proper mix of ingredients by receiving bulk materials, weighing, subdividing them, and loading them into automatic equipment. Additionally, you will disassemble and clean pumps, receivers, mixers, and other equipment with small hand tools before reassembling them for a new batch. Minor gas chromatography analysis, inventory management, and communication with the Formulations team and management are also part of the job. Forklift operation is required. Responsibilities + Follow instructions on work orders, blend tickets, and wash tickets. + Weigh ingredients and sample products. + Receive, weigh, and subdivide bulk materials according to manufacturing procedures. + Load materials into automatic equipment and adjust to ensure proper mixing. + Use hand tools to disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment before mixing new batches. + Conduct minor gas chromatography analysis for certain washes. + Manage inventory via paper transfer forms for creation, consumption, and movement of products. + Communicate effectively with the Formulations team and management. + Operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Essential Skills + Experience in chemical manufacturing. + Proficiency in operating a forklift. + Knowledge of production and warehouse operations. + Ability to handle and mix materials according to specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to lift 50 pounds. + Physical capability to stand, bend, squat, etc. + Experience in order pulling, bottling, and using small hand tools. Work Environment The work environment is within a warehouse/manufacturing setting. The position offers a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, providing job stability with products in high demand and steady work. Employees are paid weekly, and there is freedom to plan personal activities during the off week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winter Haven, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
