Your Mission is Ours Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Global Security Future Architectures (GSFA) Ground Team for upcoming work on Program 224. The Systems Engineer will be joining a ground subsystem team and contribute to the development of the subsystem structure, behavior, and interfaces. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: u2022 Define ground subsystem structures, behavior, interfaces, and data flows u2022 Contribute to design and model development by creating or refining SysML elements and diagrams u2022 Contribute to development of CDRL documents u2022 Conduct or participate in design trade studies u2022 Develop plans for DevSecOps pipelines and test approach u2022 Participate in interface working groups to define & mature external interfaces, as well as drive decisions related to systems & software architecture u2022 Present at internal meetings and demos Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Prior work experience with software, information management, or communication systems for Space or Ground segments u2022 Prior experience performing system engineering, test, or analysis in a medium to large scale system u2022 Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance. Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) u2022 Proficiency with SysML and Cameo u2022 Experience with ground segment development u2022 Experience as a software developer or software-focused systems engineer or architect u2022 Experience with development phase design reviews including SRR, SDR, PDR, or CDR u2022 Experience with enterprise/system of systems design or integration u2022 Proficiency with Agile development tools, techniques and associated business rhythms u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across multiple teams u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills u2022 Prior experience working in a classified environment u2022 Active TS/SCI Security Clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
