You will lead nursing staff with your dynamic nursing practice and oversee overall department operations.As Nurse Manager at MultiCare, your leadership, delegation, and collaboration across your unit are essential to achieving the best possible outcomes and experiences for patients and families.Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.ResponsibilitiesYou will define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practicesYou will ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resourcesSupport successful collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient care outcome and department strategic plansYou will coordinate towards the overall operations of assigned units and the provision of resourcesFacilitate optimal and cost-efficient patient care deliveryRequirementsBachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreementAdvanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferredCurrent Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)Five (5) years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function preferredThree (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferredAbout Capital Medical CenterMultiCare Capital Medical Center is a 107-bed community hospital providing award-winning care to Olympia and surrounding communities.
