Position Summary Join CVS Health as a professional driver, operating a tractor-trailer and/or straight truck to deliver merchandise to stores efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include timely deliveries, as well as picking up and returning merchandise and empty totes to the distribution center. Key Details u2022 Schedule: Day, evening and overnight shifts required (24/5) u2022 Driving Scope: Must be comfortable with inner-city driving u2022 Inner City Routes: Washington, DC., Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA u2022 Home Daily: Enjoy the benefit of being home every day u2022 Consistent Schedule: Anticipated 5-day work weeks (hours will vary) u2022 Competitive Pay: Guaranteed starting pay of $270 per day Required Qualifications u2022 Meet all Department of Transportation requirements concerning driver qualifications (FMCSR 391.11) u2022 Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience (Preference given to experienced store-side delivery drivers or inner-city drivers) u2022 No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last four (4) years u2022 Two or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than parking) within the past three (3) years u2022 No conviction of any offense involving impaired driving within the last five (5) years u2022 No conviction of careless or reckless driving within the past five (5) years u2022 No preventable accidents that ever resulted in a fatality or catastrophic injury u2022 No conviction of a criminal offense involving a commercial vehicle (FMCSR Sec. 383.51 and 391.15) u2022 CVS Transportation L.L.C. will not consider any driver applicant who does not meet the minimum requirements as specified by CVS Healthu2019s Loss Prevention or Human Resources Departments.
