Staff Accountant

Description A growing multi-location retail operator is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team in Hendersonville, NC. This role will support financial operations across a network of retail locations and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment. Responsibilities: + Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries + Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including cash, inventory, and AP/AR + Assist with month-end and year-end close + Review store-level transactions for accuracy and completeness + Analyze sales, margin, and inventory variances + Assist with retail sales reporting and fuel accounting + Maintain documentation supporting internal controls and audits + Work with store managers and operations teams to resolve discrepancies Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 1u20133 years of accounting experience + Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
