Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Conyers, Georgia. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices to ensure accurate payments and proper coding. u2022 Manage account coding to maintain consistency and compliance with company standards. u2022 Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure timely execution. u2022 Conduct regular check runs to facilitate vendor payments and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice-related issues and ensure smooth operations. u2022 Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for auditing purposes. u2022 Assist in reconciling accounts payable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable activities. u2022 Provide support in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable. u2022 Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment queries and resolve concerns. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and managing account coding processes. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Knowledge of relevant accounting software and tools. u2022 Understanding of financial compliance and auditing standards.
