Early Headstart Program Teacher

Job Description Insight Global is seeking dedicated teachers for our clientu2019s Head Start program in New Jersey. In this role, you will work with two teachers assistants in classrooms of 8 children with a 1:4 ratio, aged 0 months to 5 years. Your responsibilities include welcoming students, assisting with hygiene routines, facilitating family-style meals, and leading circle time activities. You will supervise outdoor play, guide various learning activities, and conduct engaging story sessions to promote literacy. Additionally, you will prepare children for nap time, oversee snack time, and ensure smooth transitions at the end of the day. You will foster respectful interactions that honor the diverse backgrounds of children and families, plan enriching experiences like field trips, and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
