Read on to learn more about an exciting opportunity to join our team.Impact You'll MakeExecute Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, with primary responsibility for conducting research and preparing client deliverable.Support client engagements by diagnosing accounting irregularities, evaluating financial data integrity, and advising on remediation strategies to address identified discrepancies.Review and analyze complex contracts, perform technical accounting research, and document conclusions in accordance with applicable guidance.Draft accounting memoranda and prepare supporting models/schedules as applicable, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with relevant accounting standards.What You'll DoSupport the day-to-day execution of Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients.Conduct research and assist in preparing client deliverables, including accounting memoranda, accounting policies, financial statement disclosures, supporting schedules, and journal entries.Partner with other service lines-such as valuation and dispute practices-to provide ad hoc research and project support.Contribute to business development and marketing efforts, including proposals, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.Participate in market-facing activities to build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, referral sources, public and private companies, and CPA firms.Work with finance-focused ERP systems, including NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, and Oracle.The selected candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter, who is interested in participating in growth of service line within the established firm.What You BringFamiliarity of U.S. GAAP, including areas such as purchase accounting, impairment, complex debt and equity securities, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, and lease accounting.Familiarity with SEC regulations and filing requirements is a plus.Experience with preparing financial statementsExposure to or experience with IFRS is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to translate complex accounting standards and technical guidance into clear, plain-English explanations.Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong client-service orientation.Highly organized with strong project and time management skillsPositive and enthusiastic attitudeExcels in a team-oriented work environmentShows creativity in problem solvingAccountability and ability to multi-taskStrong technical and analytical skillsEducation and/or Training:Bachelor's in Accounting, Mathematics or Economics3+ years of relevant professional experience in technical accounting or operational accounting and financial reporting; Big 4 audit/assurance experience, accounting advisory experience, or relevant corporate/industry experience preferred.CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.How You'll ThriveEmbrace changing client-imposed deadlines with flexibility and adaptability.Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.Collaborate with engagement leaders and team members while embodying Stout's core values: Positive and Team-Oriented, Accountable, Committed, Relationship-Focused, Super-Responsive, and being Great communicators.Demonstrate a commitment to delivering Relentless Excellence in client service and team collaboration.Why Stout?At Stout, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards program with competitive compensation, benefits, and well ess options tailored to support employees at every stage of life.We foster a culture of inclusion and respect, embracing diverse perspectives and experiences to drive innovation and success. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,000.00 - $135,000.00 Annual.
