44056BR Requisition ID: 44056BR Business Unit: NAU Job Description: We are open to candidates based in any of these CDM Smith offices; Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth u2022 Applies industry experience in the successful implementation of large capital programs to facilitate Owneru2019s stated program objectives. u2022 Interfaces with executive and senior levels with the Owner organization, makes presentations in public hearings and council meetings, and assists Owner with communications regarding the program. u2022 Assists with developing and driving CDM Smith client strategy with regards to the Owner. u2022 Coordinates, oversees, and/or provides technical review of Engineering Consultants and/or Contractors to successfully meet Owner cost and non-cost criteria for project/program creation and execution. u2022 Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects using lessons learned. u2022 Prepares detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders regarding various project aspects. u2022 Ensures adherence to company and project management policies, procedures, and practices. u2022 Performs ongoing review of project status. u2022 Manages project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability. u2022 On an ongoing basis, monitors project risks (time and cost); identifies possible risks and recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions; escalates as appropriate. u2022 Manages project change using change management protocols; determines appropriate changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics. u2022 Works in conjunction with team members and internal and external stakeholders to manage changes to requirements and schedule of the project. u2022 Creates and reviews timely client billings with internal billing support. u2022 Responsible for ensuring timely client payment and follows up on outstanding client invoices to obtain payment. u2022 Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment to outside resources. u2022 Provides timely response to audit corrective actions identified by external or internal audits. u2022 Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard engineering or construction techniques, procedures, and criteria. u2022 Provides guidance to drafters/designers, engineers, craft workers, other project team members, contractors or subcontractors. u2022 Develops and implements project resource plan and manages the staffing of assigned projects. u2022 Determines and coordinates the proper staffing within the project including identification of outside resources needed (subs/vendors) and ensures procurement processes are followed. u2022 Clearly communicates project deadlines, assignments and objectives to project team members. u2022 Assigns work and provides direction to project staff with regard to timeliness and completion of project objectives. u2022 Coaches project staff and provides feedback to staff and to project staff's supervisors on project performance; escalates any performance issues to appropriate management and human resources. u2022 Builds, maintains and manages strong client relationships. u2022 Ensures client satisfaction by delivering quality, on-time project outcomes as a result of good planning and organizational skills; manages client expectations. u2022 Identifies opportunities for change orders and repeat business though pre-eminent project execution and developed client relationships. u2022 Works collaboratively with sales leaders to evaluate potential new work and supports the scoping and costing effort. Performs other duties as assigned. #LI-MO1 Job Title: Owners Agent / Program Manager Group: HQG Employment Type: Regular Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's Degree. u2022 13 years of related experience. u2022 PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). u2022 Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
