Job title:u00a0 Day Porter - CleanerReports to:u00a0 Facilities Maintenance SpecialistJob purpose Supports a clean and safe environment for students with autism and related developmental disabilities. Performs essential custodial duties, including restroom monitoring, supply restocking, trash and recycling removal, cleaning and disinfecting throughout the building.Duties and responsibilitiesMaintain a high standard of cleanliness in classrooms, restrooms, sensory spaces, offices, and common areasConduct routine monitoring and timely cleaning of high-use areasRespond promptly to spills, accidents, and biohazard situations using approved protocolsRestock hygiene and sanitation suppliesFollow all health, safety, confidentiality, and compliance requirementsInteract with students and staff in a calm, respectful, and professional mannerCollaborate with Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support daily operationsObserve and report safety, maintenance, or environmental concerns to supervisorExpectations, Skills and AbilitiesParticipate (and pass requirements where applicable) in all required trainings,including but not limited to; First Aid, CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Standards of Practice.Knowledge of and adherence to PEP Policies and Procedures.Ability to prioritize requests for assistance. Respond quickly and effectively to high priority situations.Punctual with consistent attendance practices.
