JOB SUMMARY We are seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide high-quality care to residents in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). Caregivers will assist residents with daily living activities and provide hands-on support for individuals who require total assistance due to limited mobility or being bed bound. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to maintaining the dignity, safety, and comfort of each resident. Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum of one (1) year of documented health care experience (unless participating in an approved Mentor Program) Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to travel within Sacramento and surrounding counties Preferred Certifications u2022 CPR / First Aid Certification u2022u00a0Experience working with elderly or mobility-impaired residents.
