Data Analytics The Senior Programmer Analyst provides a full range of systems analysis and programming in support of the County's enterprise data analytics efforts. This position also serves as a technical lead, providing project and development leadership. The ideal candidate will have programming experience which will contribute to the development, maintenance, and overall success of data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, data quality, and data governance. Fire Systems Support The Senior Programmer Analyst delivers comprehensive systems analysis and programming support for the Clark County Fire Departmentu2019s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and other mission-critical fire department systems, while also serving as a technical lead responsible for guiding projects and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, supporting, or administering multiple fire department support systems. This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field AND four (4) years of full-time professional level experience in systems analysis and programming in a large information technology environment. Demonstrated education and training resulting in an industry-recognized certificate may be substituted for education and/or experience on a year-for-year basis up to two (2) years. Professional level experience that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis up to two (2) years.
