This is a hybrid role with their offices in Houston, TX at least 2 x a week. Duration: Through the end of the year Project: u201cFull stacku201d Architect - meaning multi domain Architecture Daily Tasks: u2022 Design cloud-native applications that sit outside Endur (not inside it) u2022 Define tech stack for the application ecosystem around Endur u2022 Partner with Integration Architect and ETRM Architect to ensure full alignment u2022 Move custom Endur screens to external cloud applications Requirements: u2022 Cloud architecture (Azure) u2022 Integration architecture u2022 Data architecture u2022 Security architecture Tech Stack : u2022 Front end: React u2022 Back end: Python, Node.js, Java, C# u2022 APIs: GraphQL, REST u2022 Data: SQL Server, Postgres, NoSQL u2022 Cloud: Azure Whatu2019s the role As a Solution Architect, youu2019ll be a key technical leader providing end-to-end architecture development, consultancy, and assurance across projects, ensuring that applications are well-designed and aligned with our clientu2019s standards and reference architecture. You will be working specifically in the Products portfolio for our clientu2019s Trading and Supply business. You will specifically work on a project team implementing a global Energy Trade and Risk Management (ETRM) solution on Azure to create a scalable, secure, and strategic landscape that enables the transformation of the Trading capabilities. Key responsibilities include: 1. Architecture and Technical Leadership u2022 Provide strong leadership skills, including fostering collaboration, driving consensus, and effectively communicating complex technical concepts. u2022 Not only lead in your area of expertise but also play a key role in shaping and transforming the role itselfu2014identifying opportunities, driving innovation, and delivering impact that extends beyond the initial remit. As the organization grows, your role is expected to evolve, offering continuous opportunities for development, influence, and leadership. u2022 Serve as the primary contact for architectural aspects of IT projects. u2022 Integrate business process, data, application, technical, and information security dimensions into cohesive IT solutions. u2022 Ensure solution architectures are documented using standard templates and tooling complying with our clientu2019s architectural standards. u2022 Guide detailed designers and business analysts during the design phase. u2022 Review and formally approve detailed solution designs. u2022 Support Lead Architect and participate in Architecture Review Board sessions as required. 2. Reference Model Stewardship u2022 Actively contribute to the documentation, enhancement, and maintenance of Reference Models in BizzDesign or any other standard tooling. u2022 Elevate project deliverables to conceptual and logical architecture levels. 3. Technology Foresight u2022 Monitor emerging IT technologies and apply this insight to design future-ready solutions for our client. 4. Standards Alignment u2022 Stay informed of developments in our clientu2019s IT standards and services, ensuring they are incorporated into solution designs. 5. Community Engagement u2022 Champion architectural excellence within the organization. u2022 Engage with stakeholders to address architectural concerns and drive strategic improvements. Technical Architecture & Design: u2022 10+ years in software and architecture delivery. u2022 Own and drive technical architecture, design, and standards for software products in Commodities Trading. u2022 Confidently lead architecture decisions across portfolios, managing divergent opinions. u2022 Create pragmatic, implementable technical designs balancing risk, complexity, cost, and value. u2022 TOGAF (or similar framework) experience and Enterprise Architecture tooling.
