FTE: 0.001 (Optional Part Time) Shift: Shift 4 The clinic is openfrom 0700 to 2000 Monday through Friday and 0800 to 1600 Saturday,Sunday, and holidays. Any open shifts are available for pickup. JobSummary: At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers,prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imagingequipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelinesand prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiationprotection measures. Adheres to organizational customer servicestandards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives.Provides positive and effective interaction and communication withpatients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assistsin patient care areas as necessary. Is currently working in 2 or more ofthe following modalities and meets the requirements of advancedcertification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year of currentclinical experience in each modality is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Post high school completion of an ARRT accreditedRadiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years ofcollege/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in ahealthcare related field is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRTregistered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer isrequired. Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Densitywithin 18 month of hire/transfer is required. American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHAapproved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
