JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a Supply Chain Logistics Intern your goal is tosupport the Logistics team which is responsible for the development andmanagement of a safe, efficient and compliant supply chain distributionnetwork that supports the movement of equipment, materials and finishedgoods. The Intern will also support the execution of freight movementsto and from our Global Briggs locations or Suppliers, along with thedelivery of finished products to our customers and Aftermarket Salesdelivering value through an optimal landed cost approach meetingdelivery service expectations. Additionally, the Intern will gainexperience collaborating with 3PLs, plant operations, and suppliers.#LI-DNP Timeline: Summer 2026 - 12 weeks (late May - early to midAugust) Hours per week: 40 hours per week Pay: dependent upon year inschool Location: onsite at our headquarters campus in Wauwatosa, WI (nohousing stipend or relocation provided) You will do this by: Learning toperform logistics tasks around preparation of shipping paperworkdocuments and instructions associated with exports and imports Verifyingreceipt goods in SAP and other reporting supporting logistics activityin the Briggs and Stratton network Assisting with ocean rate auditingand other invoice review Supporting the scorecarding of Suppliers forrouting performance thru participation in Supplier Onboarding andtraining Supporting trade compliance team Supporting the logisticsdepartment with data entry, analysis and monthly reporting The abovestatements are intended only to describe the general nature of the joband should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of positionresponsibilities.
